Store Questions

Q: Where can I find my pickup date?
A: At the bottom right side of the white invoice will be a pickup date. Please note that this is an estimated pickup date generated by WA State Patrol, we will give you a call the day before your pickup to confirm you have received a Proceed response and are ok to pick up.

Q: Can I add a gun to an existing background check?
A: Unfortunately WA state has made it so we are unable to add firearms once a background check is run, it will need to be a new background check for additional guns.

Q: Do I really have to wait 10 business days to pick up my gun when I used to get approved in 2-3 days?
A: As of January 1, 2024, WA state implemented a mandatory 10 business day wait period regardless of when the response comes in. In addition we must have a PROCEED response to deliver even if it has been more than 10 business days. UPDATE: April 2026- WSP is extremely backlogged and wait times are exceeding 10 business days, there is nothing we can do and calling us every day doesn’t change that. We check multiple times a day and will call as soon as we see a status update.

Q: I got denied on my gun purchase, what do I need to do?
A: Come in to the store, we will have a form for you to fill out and take to Washington State Patrol, they will provide the next steps. For privacy reasons WSP does not share why a purchase was denied, you will need to talk to WSP to get that answer.

Q: Do you offer gunsmith services?
A: Yes, our onsite gunsmith can do a wide variety of work, please call or stop by for specific questions. The gunsmith is here Thursday thru Saturday noon-6pm.

Q: Do you buy guns, take trades or do consignments?
A: Yes, however we cannot give estimates over the phone, please bring the gun(s) in for evaluation. Make sure they are unloaded and in a case or box. If you have a large amount of guns, please call and arrange an appointment so we can ensure we have the staff to properly evaluate your collection.

Q: Do you offer slide cuts or cerakote?
A: Yes, we offer a wide variety of colors, camouflage, and optic cuts.

TRANSFERS and SPECIAL ORDERS

Q: Can I transfer guns to you and what do you charge?
A: We accept firearm transfers as long as they are legal in the state. It is $50 per firearm.

Q: Do you accept Silencer transfers from other dealers or online purchases?
A: Yes, Silencers and NFA items have a $150 transfer fee, many times we either have the silencer you are looking for or we can get it in and save you the transfer fees. Call before you buy elsewhere.

Q: You don’t have what I want in stock, can you order it for me or should I buy it online?
A: We would strongly recommend coming to us before buying online. Our price is typically as good or better than many places and buying from us will save you shipping and transfer fees.

Q: How do special orders work?
A: Come into the store, we will find the exact gun you want and have you put down a deposit. We will give you an estimated time the gun will arrive at the store and as soon as the gun arrives we will give you a call and run your background check. We pull inventory from the largest distributors in the country and if its not in stock we are always happy to backorder it for you.
